For the past two years, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives has been advancing an agenda that favors the wealthy and the well-connected at the expense of hard-working American families. They’ve offered their unwavering support for Donald Trump and his administration’s most damaging policies.
The midterms offer an opportunity to reject that path and elect leaders who will actually fight for their constituents on the issues that matter most.
Susan Wild is the candidate who will bring true leadership to Congress and put the best interests of PA-07 constituents at the forefront of her agenda in Washington. Wild is an accomplished lawyer, the first female Solicitor of the City of Allentown, a devoted mother, and a community activist. She’s spent her life fighting for justice, and she’ll do the same in Congress, making sure families in Lehigh Valley and beyond have their voice heard.
See how Susan Wild's stances on key issues compare to the Republican-Controlled House:
- Passed legislation that would have ripped health care away from 777,000 Pennsylvanians and raised premiums.
- Passed a tax scam that hands the top 1% an average cut of $55,000, while hiking taxes on millions in the middle class. The law will add $1.9 trillion to our deficit, setting the stage for Social Security and Medicare cuts.
- Weakened the background check system and passed a bill that would force states with strong gun laws to comply with lax gun laws from other states.
- Failed to protect DREAMers, who contribute $357 million to Pennsylvania’s economy.
- Voted to jeopardize our clean air and water, weaken air pollution standards, and remove protections that prevented companies from dumping mine waste into waterways.
Has vowed to protect and strengthen the Affordable Care Act to realize its goal of universal access to affordable, quality health care.
Will work to strengthen unions, invest in infrastructure and training so hard-working Pennsylvanians can secure good-paying jobs, and oppose any attempt to cut or privatize Social Security.
Supports common-sense reforms to reduce gun violence, including a ban on weapons of war and closing loopholes in the background check system.
Would fight for an immediate, permanent solution to protect DREAMers and work toward bipartisan immigration reform.
Has a robust plan to defend the environment, protect our natural resources, combat climate change, and incentivize investment in renewable energy in a way that also brings good jobs to Pennsylvania.
With newly drawn maps that will make Pennsylvania districts fairer, PA-07 voters have an opportunity to elect someone who will better represent their values than the Republican-controlled Congress has.
We can help elect Susan Wild in November, but it won’t happen on its own.
It’ll take people like you stepping up to ensure your neighbors, family, and friends understand what’s at stake in this election, make a plan to vote, and join this fight.

PA-07 in the News
“Will the Lehigh Valley’s next member of Congress be a seasoned litigator who promises a “progressive” platform of stopping ICE raids, banning assault weapons and preserving a woman’s right to choose? Or will Valley voters choose an Olympic gold medalist who vows to uphold conservative principles of ending sanctuary cities, preserving gun rights and opposing abortion?”
“Wild defined herself as an experienced attorney who would fight for families, more affordable education and universal health care at a time, she said, when Democrats aren’t afraid of being bold…. Wild cultivated a base in Lehigh County, where she raised her family and built a law practice. She lives in South Whitehall Township and was Allentown’s first female solicitor.”
