What Obamacare Means for Colorado

Yesterday, the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act. The Court's ruling means that millions of Americans will have access to affordable, quality health care -- but Coloradans have already started to feel the impact of this historic legislation. Here’s a breakdown of how Coloradans have already benefitted from reform:

1.9 million Coloradans no longer have a lifetime limit on their health insurance plans -- so insurers can no longer cut you off from important treatment when you need it the most.
1.3 million Coloradans can now benefit from preventive care through their health insurance plans.
291,000 young children in Colorado with pre-existing conditions now have access to health insurance.
50,000 young Coloradans, ages 19 to 25, were able to remain insured under their parents' insurance.
