“We're going to get rid of that”

Things Mitt Romney said yesterday:

"Planned Parenthood, we're going to get rid of that."

Things you can do to stop him:

Take a stand in support of Women for Obama—on behalf of yourself, your mother, daughter, wife, sister, or friend you care about.

It's amazing how casually Romney said it, too. As if he had said:

Of course we'll do away with one of the largest providers of health care services to women in America. Why wouldn't we shut down an organization that has saved hundreds of thousands of women's lives through cancer screenings? What possible argument could there be for allowing the continued existence of an organization that gives millions of women affordable access to life-saving services?

Even more offensive is that Romney wants to eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood, which helps millions of women get cancer screenings and other preventive care, but he is proposing a $5 trillion tax plan that gives massive tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires.

Can we show this guy the full force of his wrongness?

Stand with the only candidate in this presidential race who respects women's health care choices: Barack Obama.

We'll send a nice note to Romney's camp to let them know exactly how many people he fired up by wishing Planned Parenthood, and affordable health care for millions of women, out of existence.

Please pass this on to anyone you know with a stake in this. (That should be everyone you know.)
