Registering Voters, Changing Communities

Saturday, June 18th was our first National Day of Action for the 2012 Campaign. What an incredible success we had here in Missouri, and all across the country. In Missouri, teams reported exciting successes all day long. Teams turned in big numbers, and that means more community awareness and more voters at the polls!

Volunteer, Jan H. makes calls during a Day of Action - Kansas City phone bank.

Whether hitting the streets to help register voters, at a table collecting “I’m In” pledges, or on the phones contacting past volunteers; teams all reported that everywhere supporters were stepping up with a renewed commitment to win the future. They were excited to learn about organizing efforts within their own communities, providing opportunities for local involvement to help bring about change.

Supporters in the Show Me State are proud and excited to commit to President Obama’s 2012 campaign for re-election.

"I'm In because the President's plan is targeted and working! Go Obama!"~ Gwen
