Organizing tip of the week: Own your data

Here’s another organizing tip from the great state of Wisconsin: Own your data.

Crunching the data from the field is absolutely crucial to making sure we hit our goals, and knowing where, when, and how to reach out to voters.

So, commit yourself to keeping track of every door you knock on, phone call you make, and voter you register—and make sure you’re reporting your data at the end of every day. Being an organizer who owns data, not only because you have to but because you want to, will set you apart—and it will help take your organizing to the next level.
