Open for Business

The Obama for America-Montana office is officially open for business! On Wednesday, October 19th, State Director Nathan Kosted welcomed Missoula Mayor John Engen and Obama supporters to celebrate an official kick-off event for the Obama 2012 campaign. Montana fall fellows signed many community volunteers up for phone banks, which will start as early as next week. Volunteers were also given opportunities to sign up for community organizing roles, including neighborhood team leaders and members.

“We can’t afford to go back,” said Mayor Engen to the crowd. “It was people like you who made the change in the beginning, and we need your help again.”

The new Obama for America-Montana state office in Missoula is located at 800 Kennsington Street in the downstairs of the building with the blue awning just across from Freemos Pizza! If anyone is interested in getting involved, stop into your local office or give us a call. There is plenty to do in the days ahead!
