Mother's Day fact no. 2: the payroll tax cut helps NH families

The average New Hampshire family is saving $1980 due to President Obama's payroll tax cut, and 30,000 small firms in New Hampshire saw their payroll taxes cut in half this year.

We’ve seen 26 consecutive months of private sector job growth, and between this Mother’s Day and the next, women in New Hampshire will save millions of dollars in reduced payroll taxes.

This is a stark contrast to what Mitt Romney proposes. Romney would roll us back to a repackaged version of Bush-era policies — the exact ones that brought us to the brink of economic disaster.

Note: this is the second in a series of posts highlighting what President Obama has accomplished for women since last Mother's Day. We'll post one of these a day through Sunday. Here's yesterday's post.
