Mother's Day fact of the day, number 1

Note: this is the first in a series of posts highlighting what President Obama has accomplished for women since last Mother's Day. We'll post one of these a day through Sunday.

Since last Mother’s Day, 107,000 Granite State women had their coverage for preventive care expanded, helping them get the care they need. More than 7,700 New Hampshire women saved an average of $630 each on their prescription medication — all thanks to President Obama’s health reform law.

President Obama has fought every day to strengthen women’s economic security and empower them to make their own health care decisions. Women can’t afford to turn back the clock by electing Mitt Romney.
