In an article last week, the Detroit Free Press announced that General Motors has once again taken the top spot as the world’s largest automaker, with 9.03 million vehicles sold last year. This news follows an article Bloomberg published telling the story of auto plants in Michigan and elsewhere that are adding additional shifts just to keep up with industry demand.
