One of the many things I love about this movement, is the ability to connect generations through belief in the leadership of President Obama. Time and time again, we have seen seniors in high school working alongside our senior citizens to move forward the policies we believe in. That was no different last week when a mother and daughter attended the Kansas City OFA office opening. I met mother Janet G. who says she asked her daughter to come with her to hear how to get involved again. Janet worked in 2008 for Obama and wanted to continue what she started. Additionally, daughter Adrienne M. said she was there because she “believed in the cause and the mission” and “knows that the work isn’t done.” As we move toward Election Day 2012, we will see many generations and families choosing to spend time together for a worthy cause: re-electing President Obama and moving America forward.
