Women for Obama: Caitlin

Caitlin is focused on making a difference in peoples’ lives. A young lawyer in Minneapolis, she works at a community law firm helping people struggling to pay their mortgages, chip away at large medical bills or just make ends meet.

In the course of her work, Caitlin has seen first-hand how a new program backed by the Obama administration – the Home Affordable Modification Program, or HAMP – has helped clients facing foreclosure by lowering their mortgage payments.

She has been involved in Democratic politics for several years, including helping with voter protection at the polls for the Obama campaign in 2008. Now in 2012,  she's helping make phone calls to undecided voters with her neighborhood team.

The President’s positions on healthcare and marriage equality are particularly important to her:

It was very brave to take a stand on both these issues.

If you’re like Caitlin and stand with President Obama, sign up to volunteer with a  neighborhood team near you.
