Metro Detroit Grassroots Leaders Develop a Friendly Competition for Obama 2012 I’m In Effort

Grassroots leaders in Detroit have been actively organizing and brainstorming new ways to get as many of their neighbors to be IN for the Obama 2012 campaign.

During a region wide team meeting Community Organizers Janie, Mary, Gloria, and Frankie D., hosted breakout sessions to help new volunteers feel welcomed. Although these leaders normally focus on working together, they decided a little rivalry would make the effort fun and motivating.

The month of May in Metro Detroit has deemed the “Battle Royal of Phone Banking”. Neighborhood teams across Detroit will be working together and reaching out to as many of their community members as they can and asking if they’re IN for Obama 2012. We will keep you update on which team comes out on top!
