Letter of the Week—January 9th, 2012

Dear Mr. President,

My wife just started working at a museum in New York City. With a lot of help and support from friends and family, we were able to pick up and move to this great city to take advantage of this opportunity. Without that help our move would have been next to impossible. If not for your election in 2008, I’m fairly certain our economy would have plumbed new depths and our present situation would not have offered this opportunity.

I realize these first three years have been difficult—sometimes in the extreme—for our country's citizens, and you have sometimes faced very challenging and obstinate forces, but please know in the coming months that—in my humble opinion—you have the support it will take to win re-election. Keep fighting and do what it will take to win in November. We are counting on you.
