Become a Leader in your Neighborhood

Beverly Ring House Party

Right now across Kansas, volunteers are getting ready for the upcoming campaign. As part of our grassroots strategy, volunteers are stepping up to create neighborhood teams that are busy hosting house parties, planning events, and making phone calls. Beverly Ring, a Neighborhood Team Leader in Olathe, described her experience so far:

I became a neighborhood team leader because I believe in President Obama and his steady hand in guiding us through troubled times as well as his challenge for us to be a nation that cares about all its citizens. So far I’ve been rewarded with the relationships I’ve developed and the pride I feel in what we accomplish together. Its been great to be of service to my community, to have met other folks with a progressive vision of our country's future, and to have developed my own voice in the democratic process.

You can find out what our neighborhood teams are all about by attending an event near you. Another great way to hear about upcoming events is to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
