We can't afford not to act on immigration reform

$5.3 billion and counting—that's how much money our country has lost in additional revenue because the House of Representatives has refused to hold a vote on comprehensive immigration reform.

It has been more than 143 days since the Senate passed a bipartisan bill that would add millions of new jobs, reduce the national deficit by $135 billion over the next 10 years, and boost our economy. Every day the House doesn't act, the government misses out on $37 million in additional revenue.

This is an issue that can no longer be ignored. Not only is immigration an indicator of our compassion as a society, but it has tangible consequences for our economy.

You can help get key members of the House of Representatives to act. Add your name to tell them that it's time to take the lead on immigration reform.
