Field Organizer Training Report Back

On August 6th and 7th, we were lucky to have our new field organizers join us in Des Moines for training. From California to right here in metro Iowa, we had a range of people from different backgrounds get ready to turn enthusiasm into voters across the state.

During the first day, organizers got to know each other and why they each personally support the president. They also learned about the importance of Iowa as a crucial swing vote state and how they play a part in getting Iowans from all walks of life to support the president. Everyone got first-hand experience canvassing and learned how they can organize their own successful canvass.

On the second day, they learned more about the particular area that they're working in. Whether rural or urban, organizers learned that each place holds significant importance in this election. Our organizers also learned a bit about each department in Team IA, including Operation Vote, our Digital Department, and our awesome new tool, Dashboard.

It was great to meet our new field organizers and we're extremely excited to see what great things they're going to do across the state of Iowa.
