Getting organized at NYU

New York recently held our first Obama Student Summit, with more than sixty students from campuses across the state taking part.

After kicking things off with icebreakers at NYU, deputy youth vote director Eric Zoberman and New York state director Rob Diamond facilitated a discussion about why getting involved with the campaign now is key to winning in November. The President’s work for students includes student loan reform and making health care widely available for young people, who can now stay on their parents' plan until age 26. I’m excited about the new volunteers we recruited for the phone banks and canvasses we’ll have in the coming months, who'll join us for traveling to Pennsylvania to knock on doors with our new teams. We can't wait to hold another campus summit soon.
