Actions Speak Louder than Words

John is registering voters in Wesley Chapel

Visit and make sure you're ready to cast your ballot in November.

In the midst of all the hustle and bustle in the Wesley Chapel field office there is one constant: John's smile, and infectiously positive attitude about registering voters.

While growing up in Uganda, John set his sights on achieving his version of the American Dream. For him that meant taking part in the democratic process once he became an American citizen. Today he's doing just that by registering voters and making sure everyone exercises their right to vote this fall.

I’m glad I have the opportunity to vote for the right candidate in this great country and I want all my neighbors and friends to have that opportunity as well.

Because of President Obama everybody has a fair shot, regardless of background or status. He makes us believe if you aspire to something greater – you can achieve it. President Obama has my support because that is the message we need to send to our kids.
