Day of Action in Pleasantville and Larchmont: Success!

Summer Organizers Emma P. and Scott G. led the Day of Action voter registration in Pleasantville. The event had a great turnout of both volunteers and new voters.

Emma had the opportunity to speak with community members—regardless of whether they are “in” or not. She found the input from all perspectives to be beneficial because “the more dialogue there is the more we can push this campaign forward; it’s all about progress.”

“It’s not about the politics, it’s about real, everyday people that care about the country we live in and want others to care as well." --Emma
Model Congress Registers Voters

The Day of Action event in Larchmont, hosted by Summer Organizer Susan B., showed that you don’t need to be of voting age to contribute to President Obama’s 2012 election!

Members of Model Congress and Model UN at Mamaroneck High School volunteered their time to register voters in their community on Saturday the 18th. They are all “in” and are excited to cast their first presidential vote for President Obama in 2012!
